Service Description

This dynamic course is built for dog and handler teams who are ready to pursue excellence in the sport of IGP (Internationale Gebrauchshund Prüfungsordnung). Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, this program provides the knowledge, structure, and hands-on experience needed to succeed across all three phases of IGP: Tracking, Obedience, and Protection. Our training focuses on: Building drive and focus in your dog while maintaining clarity and control Developing precision and consistency in obedience through proven training methods Laying strong foundations in tracking, from motivation to article indication Harnessing and channeling protective instincts under safe, controlled conditions with experienced helpers Educating the handler on technique, timing, body mechanics, and trial strategy You’ll gain a deeper understanding of IGP as a sport, your dog’s working capabilities, and your own role as a confident, effective handler. Every step of the way, we emphasize clear communication, structured progression, and the power of a strong dog-handler bond. Whether your goal is to trial, title, or simply become a better working team, this course is your pathway to IGP excellence. A high percentage of dogs we have trained have gone on to earn their IGP titles. (If you expect to do all 3 phases, it could take at least 3 to 3 hours and 30 min. One phase could take an hour or so.)
